Governance
Policies
The trust infrastructure most movements skip because it's unglamorous. We're publishing it from day one.
A new organisation asking people for their name, their mobile number and their Saturday morning owes them a written answer on how it will behave. These policies exist before the movement has a single paid employee — not because we were required to publish them, but because writing them afterwards, once something has gone wrong, is worth very little.
Child protection
Anyone under 18 participating in an activity does so with a parent or guardian's verifiable consent. No exceptions.
Volunteer safety
Every organised activity names a responsible organiser and states basic safety information before it begins.
Grievance redressal
Any concern about an event, an organiser, or how data was used can be raised through our contact page and will be acknowledged.
Anti-harassment
Harassment of any kind, by anyone, at any activity, results in removal from the movement's activities.
Data & privacy
Governed by our privacy policy — read it for what we collect, why, and how to withdraw.
Photography & consent
No named photograph of a person is published without their agreement on record. Until then, captions carry place and activity only.
No political affiliation at activities
No party symbol, colour, banner or campaigning of any kind at an activity held under this movement's name.
Financial conduct
No volunteer collects, holds or distributes money for the movement, and no one may ask for money in its name. If someone does, report it — it is not us.
How a grievance is handled
You raise it
Through the contact page or the helpline — you do not need to be a registered member to raise a concern.
We acknowledge it
A real person confirms receipt and tells you who is looking into it. Nothing is quietly dropped.
We look into it
We speak to the organiser involved and to anyone else present, rather than accepting one account as settled.
We tell you the outcome
Including when the outcome is that we found nothing, or that we got it wrong and are correcting it publicly.
One thing we can't claim yet
This is a young movement. It has no independent board, no standing committee and no appeals panel — so these policies are enforced by the founder and the named organisers, and nothing more elaborate than that. Saying so plainly is more useful to you than implying a governance structure that doesn't exist.
